All our campers with a sales price from euro 7,500.- and up do have a guaranteed buy-back. This guarantee is included in the sales price as shown on the sales stock page. The buy-back percentage is always calculated over the purchase amount less the sales tax.
For campers with a sales price of euro 15.000,- and over, the guaranteed buy-back percentage is as follows:
For a period of use up till 3 months 70%.
From 3 till 6 months use 65%.
Use up till a year will be 60%.
Use between 12 and 24 months will give a buy-back of 45% and between 24 and 36 months will give a buy-back of 35%.
For campers with a sales price between euro 7.500,- and euro 14.999,- the guaranteed buy-back percentage is:
For a period of use up till 3 months the buy-back is 65%.
From 3 till 6 months use the buy-back is 60%.
Use up till a year will give a buy-back of 55%.
Use between 12 and 24 months will give a buy-back of 40% and between 24 and 36 months will give a buy-back of 30%.
For campers with a sales price till euro 7.499,- the buy-back (not guaranteed) is:
For a period of use up till 3 months 60%.
From 3 till 6 months use 55%.
Use up till a year will give back 50%.
Use between 12 and 24 months will give a buy-back of 35%.
Naturally all (serious) damage will be taken off the agreed buy-back price. We sold you a camper in good shape and we expect the camper back in OK shape. Normal wear and tear is no problem, but serious matters…
The additional costs (insurance and registration) are never a part of the buy-back arrangement.
The guaranteed buy-back means that you are not obliged to sell the camper back to Camper Experience. You are totally free to do with the camper as you’ll see fit after your trip. But if you want, we’ll buy the camper back. ALWAYS! Without any problems!
On the campers with a purchase price of less as euro 7.500,- you can get a guarantee for a buy-back. This will cost you euro 500,- on top of the price as listed on our sales stock page. This euro 500,- will not be included in the ‘standard’ buy-back calculations.
Generally we do want to buy these campers back. Sometimes we use them for campervan renting. Only if we already have a few examples of roughly the same year and the same price in our sales stock, we might have to turn you down. If you took out the extra guarantee for the buy-back, we will never turn you down!
The guaranteed buy-back will no longer be guaranteed when you cannot show, upon return, that you did service the camper when needed. If you can not present the invoice(s) for the service(s) and you did more as 10,000 kms (the interval between services) we do no longer honour our obligation to buy the camper as you did not honour your obligation to act like a good housefather!
